You certainly don’t want to miss two of the Casa Garden Restaurant’s biggest holiday events, which are also right around the corner: its annual Holiday Market and Crafters Corner and the Mini-Christmas Tree sale beginning December 2.
There are several exciting activities during the Holiday Market and Crafters Corner in December. Sugarplum dreams become reality at a special evening extravaganza on Wednesday, December 4, 6-9 p.m., featuring wine, special foods and music—as well as a visit from Santa and his favorite Elf. Come experience the joy of the season with friends and enjoy an evening of great shopping, delicious foods, and camaraderie—all to support the Casa and the Sacramento Children’s Home.
In addition, three Casa artisans will display their talents during separate afternoon demonstrations:
-Monday, December 2 (1:30pm): Meet Sacramento artist Bob Miller and watch his magic unfold as he paints a showpiece that will be featured in the Holiday Market silent auction.
-Tuesday, December 3 (1:30pm): Join Fusion Glass artist Janice Joe as she shares her knowledge of glass and techniques for creating her one-of-a-kind jewelry.
-Thursday, December 5 (1:30pm): Experience the creation of textile art and see old world weaving techniques as artist Lynn Elbert demonstrates the Art of the Loom.
Note: No pre-registration is required for any of these exciting events! Proceeds go to support the programs and services of the Sacramento Children’s Home.
