3. "Personally Identifiable Information" means information that could be used to identify you (such as your email address or IP address), which has not been previously or subsequently disclosed by you on the public areas of our Website or in messages you send pertaining to The Event Hub.

We automatically track certain basic information about our members (such as internet protocol addresses, browser types, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, click patterns, etc.). We use this information to do internal research on our members' usage patterns, demographics, interests and general behavior to better understand and serve our users.

The Event Hub, LLC contracts with online partners to help manage and optimize our business and our service to you. We use the services of an online site partner to help us quantify how effective our advertising is at any given time and how people use our site. To do this, we use web beacons and cookies provided by our online partners on this site. A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on your computer that is tied to information about you. You should understand that information you provide through the registration process or post to the public areas of our website may be accessible by and made public through syndication programs and by search engines, metasearch tools, crawlers, metacrawlers and other similar programs.

Further, by utilizing our Website, you authorize us to disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose you or us to legal liability.

You may not opt out of this agreement but you can deactivate your account at any time.

4. Reviewing, Updating, Deleting and Deactivating Personal Information

After any registration, whether you’re first registration with our site or any subsequent registration for an event and/or emails regarding events, we provide a way to update your Personally Identifiable Information. Upon your request, we can and will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information from our active databases. To make this request, email Upon our receipt of your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law.

We may retain some of your information in our files if we feel (in our sole discretion) that said information might be necessary to resolve a technical problem, resolve any dispute that may arise in the future or to enforce the Terms of Service Agreement. Furthermore, your information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints as such; your information will remain in our backup storage permanently.

5. Dispute Resolution

Process. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve through negotiation any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement including the documents it incorporates by reference, your use of our Website, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. In the event that the dispute, claim or controversy is not resolved by these negotiations, the matter will be submitted to binding Arbitration utilizing the dispute resolution procedures of the American Arbitration Association. Nonetheless, legal action taken by The Event Hub, LLC to collect any fees and/or recover damages for, or obtain an injunction relating to, our Website operations and/or our intellectual property rights shall not be submitted to mediation or arbitration except as otherwise agreed to in writing by The Event Hub, LLC. In addition, either you or The Event Hub, LLC may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a Court of competent jurisdiction in California necessary to protect the rights or property of you or The Event Hub, LLC pending the completion of arbitration.

Arbitration. The parties agree that any and all disputes, claims or controversies arising out of or relating to this Agreement that are not resolved by their mutual agreement shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration. The parties covenant that they will participate in the arbitration in good faith, and that they will share equally in its costs.

Enforcement. The provisions of this section (5) may be enforced by any Court of competent jurisdiction, and the party seeking enforcement shall be entitled to an award of all costs, fees and expenses, including attorneys fees, to be paid by the party against whom enforcement is ordered.

Notice and Waiver. By accepting this Agreement to Arbitration you are giving up any rights you might possess to have those matters litigated in a court or jury trial. Also, by agreeing to this Agreement you are giving up your judicial rights to discovery and appeal except to the extent that they are specifically provided for under this Agreement. If you refuse to submit to arbitration after agreeing to this provision, you may be compelled to arbitrate under federal or state law. Your agreement to this arbitration provision is voluntary.

Dispute Resolution. By The Event Hub, LLC for the Benefit of Users. We may try to help The Event Hub, LLC members resolve disputes. We do so in our sole discretion, and we have no obligation to try to resolve disputes between users. To the extent we attempt to resolve disputes, we will do so at good faith based solely on our general rules and standards, and we will not make judgments regarding legal issues or claims.

6. Notification of Changes

If we decide to change this Policy, we will post those changes on our Website on the homepage and other places we deem appropriate, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we utilize it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy statement under which the information was collected.

If we make any material changes in our privacy practices, we will post a prominent notice on our Website notifying you and our other members of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email you and other members who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. However, if you have deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted, nor will your previously collected personal information be used in this new manner.

If the change to this Policy would change how your Personally Identifiable Information is treated, then the change will not apply to you without your consent. However, if after a period of thirty (30) days you have not consented to the change in this Privacy Policy; your account will be automatically suspended until such time as you may choose to consent to changes.
